When I Started Health Coaching
Although I understood from a young age about mental health, exercise, nutrition and wellbeing I continued with academia and pharma until my children became very sick. This extremely upsetting and difficult time was the spark that started the development of a unique multifaceted Coaching program. After seeing multiple Dr’s globally the decision was made to see a naturopath. This then led me to researching different health conditions. I enrolled onto a nutrition and health course and a counselling course. Eventually, my children were out on a long term healing protocol. Alhamdulillah, by the will of Allah the Almighty and his blessings the children healed. As people came to know, I started a free health group. Accountability is a key factor in health. In 2016 I started developing a Coaching protocol. Although I started a multi faceted coaching program the results were reduction in medical and disease states. Post covid, there was an increase in mental health concerns. I embarked on learning about CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) and became a practitioner in CBT. My studies and knowledge in CBT is ongoing. Al Asl Therapy is a multi faceted coaching program. It involves different coaching techniques: CBT, life coaching, basic nutritional coaching, academic coaching, corporate coaching, Teen Coaching. I work with clients online.
Other Accomplishments
I have also run several workshops online and face to face and help with research projects. Some of the companies and establishments I have worked with are: Enoc, Masdar Institute of Science and Technology, UAEU University. international school of creative science, Al Salaam Community school, PAD-Dubai, Sharjah Ladies Club. Finally, I ran a community netball program for several years in Al Barsha, UAE. I trained and coached over 16 different nationalities. Some ladies and teens had never played sports or ever been in a tournament. It was beautiful to see them participate and grow. I am also qualified as an England Netball Umpire (C award). I look forward to further developing my programs and working with women and female teens globally.
